The Hashemite University (HU) is a public university located in the vicinity of Zarqa, Jordan, established in 1995 and operating on the credit-hour system, with its campus set on a site bordered by two international highways.哈希姆大学（Hashemite University，简称 HU）是约旦扎尔卡附近的一所公立大学，创建于 1995 年，采用学分制，校址坐落于两条国际公路之间。

• The Royal Decree to establish the Hashemite University was issued by King Hussein bin Talal on 19 June 1991, creating a new public university to serve the growing population of Zarqa Governorate and the Jordanian interior.国王侯赛因·本·塔拉勒于 1991 年 6 月 19 日颁布王室敕令设立哈希姆大学，为扎尔卡省及约旦内陆日益增长的人口兴办一所新的公立大学。
