The Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST), known in Vietnamese as Đại học Bách khoa Hà Nội and called the Hanoi University of Technology in English until 2010, is Vietnam's first and largest multidisciplinary technical university, located in the Hai Ba Trung District of Hanoi.河内理工大学（简称 HUST）是越南第一所也是规模最大的多学科理工科大学，位于首都河内的二征夫人郡，其英文校名在 2010 年之前为河内技术大学。

Founded in 1956 as the country's first specialised engineering university, it enrolled about 34,300 full-time students by the 2025-2026 academic year, including roughly 1,700 master's and doctoral candidates, and its annual intake is between 6,800 and 7,000.该校创办于 1956 年，是越南第一所专门培养工程师的高等学府；到 2025-2026 学年，全日制在校生约 34,300 人，其中硕博研究生约 1,700 人，每年招生规模约 6,800 至 7,000 人。

History

• HUST was established in Hanoi by Decree No. 147/ND, signed on 6 March 1956 by Nguyen Van Huyen, the Minister of National Education, as the country's first polytechnic institute.该校于 1956 年在河内成立，依据是当年 3 月 6 日由越南国家教育部部长阮文萤签署的第 147/ND 号决议，成为该国第一所工科高校。
