Hangzhou Medical College

Hangzhou Medical College is a public undergraduate medical college in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, China, directly affiliated with the Zhejiang Provincial People's Government and focused on applied medicine and public health.杭州医学院是一所位于中国浙江杭州的公立本科医学院校，直属浙江省人民政府，以应用医学和公共卫生为办学重点。

Its origins reach back to the Zhejiang Provincial Women's Obstetrics School of 1925, and in 2019 it merged with the Zhejiang Academy of Medical Sciences to form the present institution.该校源头可追溯到1925年创办的浙江省立女子产科学校，2019年与浙江省医学科学院整体合并组建为现在的杭州医学院。

History

• The institution traces its beginning to 1925, when the Zhejiang Provincial Women's Obstetrics School was founded, making it one of Zhejiang's oldest medical education providers, originally training midwives and obstetric practitioners for the province.学校的历史始于1925年创办的浙江省立女子产科学校，是浙江历史最悠久的医学教育机构之一，最初为全省培养助产士和产科从业人员。
