Hangzhou Dianzi University (HDU) is a provincial public university in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, China, affiliated with the Zhejiang Provincial People's Government and co-built by the province and the State Administration of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense.杭州电子科技大学（杭电，HDU）是中国浙江省杭州市的一所省属公立大学，由浙江省人民政府主管，并与国家国防科技工业局共建。

Its predecessor, the Hangzhou Aviation Industry Finance and Economics School, was founded in March 1956 under the Second Ministry of Machine Building, and the institution became Hangzhou Dianzi University in May 2004.学校前身杭州航空工业财经学校1956年3月在第二机械工业部领导下创办，2004年5月正式更名为杭州电子科技大学。

History

• The school was founded in March 1956 as the Hangzhou Aviation Industry Finance and Economics School, a specialised institution under the Second Ministry of Machine Building that trained accounting and management staff for the aviation industry.学校1956年3月创建，初名杭州航空工业财经学校，隶属第二机械工业部，主要培养航空工业所需的财经与管理人才。
