Gyeongsang National University

Gyeongsang National University, commonly abbreviated to GNU, is a national university based in Jinju in South Gyeongsang Province, South Korea, and ranks as one of the ten flagship Korean national universities that anchor higher education outside the Seoul metropolitan area.慶尚國立大學（Gyeongsang National University，簡稱 GNU）是韓國慶尚南道晉州市的一所國立大學，位列韓國十所重點國家據點國立大學之一，承擔首都圈以外的高等教育重任。

It was created on 1 March 2021 by merging Gyeongsang National University, whose lineage begins with a college founded in 1948, and Gyeongnam National University of Science and Technology, whose own origins reach back to a public vocational school of 1910.該校於 2021 年 3 月 1 日由學脈始於 1948 年一所學院的慶尚大學，與源頭可追溯至 1910 年一所公立實業學校的慶南科學技術大學合併而成。

History

• The older of the two predecessor institutions began in 1910 as a public vocational school in Jinju, an establishment that the province later developed into Gyeongnam National University of Science and Technology.其兩所前身中較早的一所於 1910 年作為晉州的公立實業學校創辦，道政府其後將其發展為慶南科學技術大學。

Campus
