Green Energy and Resources is a quarterly gold open access journal launched in 2023 by Elsevier together with Shandong University in China, reporting leading-edge research on green energy, green resources and low-carbon engineering, led by editors-in-chief Chunxuan Li, Colin Snape and Wenlong Wang, with a 2025 Journal Impact Factor of 11.5（Green Energy and Resources）是（Elsevier）与中国山东大学于 2023 年共同创办的金色开放获取季刊，报道绿色能源、绿色资源与低碳工程的前沿研究，主编为（Chunxuan Li）、（Colin Snape）与（Wenlong Wang），2025 年期刊影响因子为 11.5。

Scope

• It is a multidisciplinary, engineering-science-focused and peer-reviewed international journal该刊为多学科、以工程科学为导向的国际同行评审期刊。
• It covers processes, systems and infrastructure for harvesting, storage and use of green energy such as solar, hydrogen, wind, marine and bioenergy其覆盖太阳能、氢能、风能、海洋能与生物质能等绿色能源的获取、储存与利用过程、系统与基础设施。
• It addresses sustainable exploration, manufacturing, recycling and restoration of green resources including fuels, minerals and industrial wastes其关注燃料、矿产与工业废弃物等绿色资源的可持续勘探、制备、循环利用与修复。
• It covers innovative technologies and engineering processes for preparing and transforming green materials, chemicals and products其覆盖绿色材料、化学品与产品制备与转化的创新技术与工程过程。
• Novel concepts and technologies for low, zero and negative emissions form a further focal area低碳、零碳与负碳的新理念与新技术构成又一重点方向。
• Policy, economic and social science research that underpins the deployment of green technologies is also welcome支撑绿色技术发展与部署的政策、经济与社会科学研究同样在收稿范围内。

History

• The journal was launched in 2023 and released its inaugural issue in March of that year该刊于 2023 年创刊，首期于当年 3 月正式发布。^[1]
• It is published by Elsevier in cooperation with Shandong University, whose journals press manages the title in Jinan该刊由（Elsevier）与山东大学合作出版，由山东大学科技期刊社在济南运营。
