Green Chemistry

Scope

• The journal builds on the green chemistry principles introduced by Anastas and Warner, and covers the design, manufacture and application of chemical products and processes that reduce or eliminate hazardous substances该刊以（Anastas）与（Warner）提出的绿色化学原理为基础，涵盖可减少或消除有害物质使用与产生的化学产品及工艺的设计、制造与应用。

History

• The idea came from James Clark, founding director of the Green Chemistry Centre of Excellence at the University of York, and the Royal Society of Chemistry launched the journal in 1999 after 18 months of market research and consultation办刊构想来自（University of York）绿色化学卓越中心创始主任（James Clark），英国皇家化学会经过 18 个月调研与磋商后于 1999 年创刊。
