GigaScience

GigaScience is an open access, open data and open peer review journal published by Oxford University Press with GigaScience Press, founded in 2012 and devoted to large-scale data in the life and biomedical sciences, with a 2025 Journal Impact Factor of 5.0.《千兆科学》（GigaScience）由（Oxford University Press）与（GigaScience Press）共同出版，2012 年创刊，采用开放获取、开放数据与开放同行评审模式，聚焦生命与生物医学领域的大规模数据，2025 年期刊影响因子为 5.0。

Scope

• The journal focuses on big data research from the life and biomedical sciences, including work that depends on difficult-to-access large-scale data.刊物聚焦生命与生物医学领域的大数据研究，包括依赖难以获取的大规模数据的工作。

History

• GigaScience was established in 2012 and was originally co-published by BioMed Central and the Beijing Genomics Institute (BGI).《千兆科学》创办于 2012 年，最初由（BioMed Central）与北京华大基因研究院（BGI）共同出版。
