Géotechnique is a journal of geotechnical engineering published by Emerald Publishing on behalf of the Institution of Civil Engineers, founded in 1948 with Karl Terzaghi's endorsement and covering soil and rock mechanics, engineering geology and environmental geotechnics, with a 2025 Journal Impact Factor of 5.7.《岩土工程》（Géotechnique）由（Emerald Publishing）代表（Institution of Civil Engineers）出版，1948 年创刊并获 Karl Terzaghi 首肯，刊载土力学、岩石力学、工程地质与环境岩土工程，2025 年期刊影响因子为 5.7。

Scope

• Experimental work is expected to characterise the hydro-mechanical behaviour of soils and rocks under static, cyclic, dynamic, thermal, chemical or bio-mediated disturbance, and to state its practical consequences.实验类稿件须刻画土与岩石在静力、循环、动力、热、化学或生物介导扰动下的水—力学行为，并说明其工程意义。

History

• The idea of a dedicated journal was first raised in 1946, during the post-war effort to restore international collaboration, and was tied to preparations for the Second International Conference on Soil Mechanics and Foundation Engineering in Rotterdam in 1948.创办一份专门期刊的设想始于 1946 年战后重建国际合作的努力，并与 1948 年鹿特丹第二届国际土力学与基础工程会议的筹备相连。
