- A reorganization of the University System of Georgia in the 1930s turned the school into the Atlanta Extension Center of that system, allowed night students to earn degrees from several of its colleges, and divided it into two divisions, Georgia Evening College and Atlanta Junior College.1930 年代佐治亚大学系统的改组把这所学校变为该系统的亚特兰大推广中心,使夜校生可获系统内数所学院的学位,并把它分为佐治亚夜学院与亚特兰大初级学院两部。
