Genome Medicine

Genome Medicine (commonly abbreviated as Genome Med.) is a peer-reviewed journal in genetics and genomics published by BioMed Central. Scope

The journal publishes outstanding research of broad interest in the application of genetics, genomics and multi-omics to understand, diagnose and treat disease. It aims to bridge the basic science and clinical research communities in areas that include, but are not limited to, cancer genomics, immuno-oncology, immunogenomics, infectious disease, neurogenomics, cardiogenomics, clinical genomics, gene therapies, the microbiome, systems medicine, precision medicine and clinical trials. The journal has been fully open access since its launch, with accepted articles available online free of charge after peer review and licensed for reuse, while an article processing charge supports publication. Articles are published continuously rather than held for a fixed issue schedule. • January 2009: the journal was launched alongside its sister journal Genome Biology. Editors

The journal has a single Chief Editor supported by a locum Chief Editor, senior editors and an associate editor, with the editorial work shared across the publisher's offices in London, New York and Berlin. Board members come from many countries and regions and each carries an indication of specialist expertise.
