History

• Founded: the journal was founded in 2000, among the earliest fully open access titles to appear as bioinformatics and genomics moved into the post-genomic era, and has reached volume 27 by 2026 with volumes numbered consecutively by year.创刊： 2000 年创刊，是生物信息学与基因组学进入后基因组时代初期最早的全开放获取期刊之一，卷号按年连续编号，2026 年已出至第 27 卷。^[3]
