Gachon University

Gachon University, written 가천대학교 in Korean, is a private research university in South Korea whose present institutional structure is the direct outcome of a merger among four previously separate universities and colleges, completed over more than a decade on the edge of the Seoul capital region.

Its primary undergraduate site is the Global Campus in the city of Seongnam, supplemented by satellite campuses on Ganghwa Island and in Yeonsu-dong as well as by a School of Medicine located in the neighbouring port city of Incheon, giving the university a distributed physical footprint.

The university delivers teaching across business, social science, humanities, law, engineering and a large medical and health-science group, and it was placed in the 451 to 500 band of the Times Higher Education 2027 world rankings, its strongest showing on any global table.
