Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University

Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University is a provincial public university in Fuzhou, Fujian, focused on agriculture, forestry and related sciences and co-funded by the Fujian Provincial People's Government, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and the National Forestry and Grassland Administration.福建农林大学是位于福建省福州市的一所省属公立大学，以农业、林业及相关科学为特色，由福建省人民政府、农业农村部与国家林业和草原局共建。

It was formed in October 2000 by the merger of Fujian Agricultural University and Fujian Forestry College, and now operates four campuses at Jinshan, Qishan, Anxi and Nanping covering about 400 hectares.学校于 2000 年 10 月由福建农业大学与福建林学院合并组建，现设金山、旗山、安溪与南平四个校区，占地约 400 公顷。

History

• In 1936 Fujian Union College added departments of agriculture and agricultural economics and opened an agricultural experiment station, the earliest root of the university's agricultural teaching.1936 年，福建协和学院增设农学系与农业经济系，并开办农业试验场，这是学校农业教育最早的源头。

Campus

• The main Jinshan campus lies at the western end of Nantai Island in Fuzhou, the capital of Fujian Province, at the centre of the lower Min River estuary basin where the Min and Wulong rivers meet.金山主校区位于福建省省会福州市南台岛西端，地处闽江下游河口盆地中心、闽江与乌龙江交汇处。
