Scope

History

• The journal was founded in 2013 by the State Key Laboratory of Tribology at Tsinghua University together with the Chinese Tribology Institute, and it was co-published by Tsinghua University Press and Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg该刊由清华大学摩擦学国家重点实验室与中国摩擦学学会于 2013 年创办，由（Tsinghua University Press）与（Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg）联合出版。
• It was launched as an open access journal, making it the first international English-language tribology journal published from China该刊以开放获取模式创刊，是当时国内首个摩擦学领域的国际性英文学术期刊。
• Three and a half years after launch, in 2016, the journal was accepted into the Science Citation Index, with SCI covering all of its papers from the first issue of 2013 onwards创刊三年半后，该刊于 2016 年被科学引文索引收录，且（SCI）收录其自 2013 年第 1 期以来的全部论文。

Editors
