Flow Measurement and Instrumentation

Flow Measurement and Instrumentation is an international journal given over to every stage of flow measurement in closed conduits and open channels, founded in 1989 and published by Elsevier.《流量测量与仪表》是一份专注于封闭管道与明渠流量测量各环节的国际期刊，创刊于 1989 年，由 Elsevier 出版。

The design of a metering system is treated as a multidisciplinary task that runs from the modelling of the sensor and the fluid through the transducer electronics to the field trial of the finished installation.计量系统的设计被视为一项跨学科任务，自传感器与流体的建模起，经传感器电子学，直至整套装置的现场试验。

Scope

History

• The first issue of the journal appeared in October 1989 as volume 1 number 1, and the founding editor was Michael Sanderson.该刊首期于 1989 年 10 月出版，为第 1 卷第 1 期，创刊主编是（Michael Sanderson）。

• In that opening number Sanderson set out the case for a journal of its own, arguing that flow is among the most important process variables in monitoring, control and fiscal or legal work across many industries.在创刊号中，（Michael Sanderson）陈述了单独办刊的理由，指出流量在众多行业的监测、控制以及计量与法律事务中都是最重要的过程变量之一。
