FirePhysChem is an open access journal published by KeAi on behalf of the Xi'an Modern Chemistry Research Institute, launched in 2021 and devoted to the physical chemistry, materials and technology of energetic materials, with a 2025 Journal Impact Factor of 5.1.《火炸药物理化学》（FirePhysChem）由（KeAi）代表西安近代化学研究所出版，2021 年创刊，专注含能材料的物理化学、材料与技术，2025 年期刊影响因子为 5.1。

Scope

• Propellants, including gun, solid rocket, hybrid, liquid and gel propellants, together with formulation, performance and scale-up.推进剂，包括发射药、固体火箭、混合、液体与凝胶推进剂，以及配方、性能与放大工艺。
• Explosives and energetic composites, covering primary and secondary explosives, pyrotechnics, nanothermites and hybrid energetic systems.炸药与含能复合材料，涵盖起爆药与猛炸药、烟火剂、纳米铝热剂与混合含能体系。
• Materials chemistry for energetics, from organic and inorganic energetic molecules to binders, composites and functional additives such as stabilisers, plasticisers and burn-rate modifiers.含能材料化学，从有机与无机含能分子到黏结剂、复合材料以及稳定剂、增塑剂、燃速调节剂等功能助剂。
• The physical chemistry of energetic events, from shock and detonation to combustion, pyrolysis, thermal decomposition, deflagration and ignition.含能过程的物理化学，从冲击与爆轰到燃烧、热解、热分解、爆燃与点火。

History

• The journal was founded in 2021 by the Xi'an Modern Chemistry Research Institute with KeAi, and volume 1 opened in March 2021.本刊由西安近代化学研究所与（KeAi）于 2021 年共同创办，第 1 卷第 1 期于 2021 年 3 月出版。
• The institute, established in 1948, is China's largest centre for chemical energetic materials and hosts national key laboratories for energetic materials and for fluorine and nitrogen chemicals.该研究所成立于 1948 年，是中国最大的化学含能材料研究机构，设有含能材料与氟氮化学品国家重点实验室。
• KeAi is a Beijing-based joint venture of China Science Publishing and Media and Elsevier, and the journal is hosted on ScienceDirect.（KeAi）是（China Science Publishing and Media）与（Elsevier）在北京合办的出版机构，本刊在（ScienceDirect）平台发布。
• It began as a quarterly and moved to six issues a year from volume 5 in 2025.创刊时为季刊，自 2025 年第 5 卷起改为每年六期。
• Publication is fully open access, the article processing charge is covered by the institute, authors pay nothing and articles carry a CC BY-NC-ND licence.全部论文开放获取，文章出版费由研究所承担，作者无需付费，论文采用（CC BY-NC-ND）许可。
