FEBS Letters

FEBS Letters is a peer-reviewed scientific journal of the Federation of European Biochemical Societies (FEBS), founded in July 1968 and published by Wiley on behalf of FEBS, covering the molecular life sciences, with a 2024 impact factor of 3.0（FEBS Letters，简称 FEBS Lett.）是欧洲生物化学学会联合会（Federation of European Biochemical Societies，FEBS）于 1968 年 7 月创办的同行评审期刊，现由 Wiley 代表 FEBS 出版，覆盖分子生命科学各领域，2024 年影响因子为 3.0。

Scope

• Biochemistry, biophysics, cancer biology, cell biology and computational biology生物化学、生物物理、癌症生物学、细胞生物学与计算生物学。
• Developmental biology, evolution, genetics and genomics, glycobiology and immunology发育生物学、进化、遗传与基因组学、糖生物学与免疫学。

History

• Founded in July 1968, it is the second journal of FEBS after the European Journal of Biochemistry of 1967, and was launched to publish short communications rapidly该刊于 1968 年 7 月创刊，是 FEBS 继 1967 年《European Journal of Biochemistry》之后的第二本会刊，创刊初衷是快速发表短通讯。^[1]
• Early editors-in-chief included S. P. Datta from 1968 to 1985 and G. Semenza from 1985 to 1999早期主编包括 S. P. Datta（1968–1985）与 G. Semenza（1985–1999）。
• The print edition ceased with volume 589, issue 24 in December 2015, and the journal has been online only since 2016纸本止于第 589 卷第 24 期（2015 年 12 月），自 2016 年起转为纯电子出版。
• Author fees are not charged for standard publication, although an open-access option is available, and the journal has joined Review Commons for the transfer of refereed preprints常规发表不收版面费，作者亦可选择开放获取；该刊已加入 Review Commons，可携已有评审意见转投。
