Experimental Neurobiology

Experimental Neurobiology is a bimonthly open access journal for interdisciplinary work on the nervous system, published in Seoul since 1992 by the Korean Society for Brain and Neural Sciences together with the Korean Society of Neurodegenerative Disease, and it holds a 2025 Journal Impact Factor of 2.4.《实验神经生物学》是研究神经系统的跨学科双月刊，1992 年起在首尔由韩国脑与神经科学学会与韩国神经退行性疾病学会共同出版，全刊开放获取，2025 年期刊影响因子为 2.4。

Scope

• The aims page frames the title as an international forum for interdisciplinary investigation of the nervous system, addressing readers who come to it from biochemistry, physiology, anatomy or clinical practice.宗旨页把本刊定位成神经系统跨学科研究的国际论坛，面向从生物化学与生理学进入这一领域的读者，也面向解剖学与临床实践的从业者。
• Cellular and molecular neuroscience anchors the list, taking in work on neurons, synapses, membrane proteins and the intracellular signalling that connects them.细胞与分子神经生物学列在首位，涵盖神经元与突触，也涵盖膜蛋白以及把这些环节连起来的胞内信号转导。

History

• The first issue appeared in 1992 as Volume 1, Number 1, bringing a Korean-founded neuroscience title into English-language circulation from Seoul.第 1 卷第 1 期于 1992 年问世，这份由韩国方面创办的神经科学刊物自此以英文在首尔发行。
• Volume numbering has run unbroken since, one volume to a year, so the issues of 2026 sit in Volume 35.卷号此后没有中断，一年一卷，2026 年的各期属于第 35 卷。
• Six issues appear each year on the bimonthly schedule printed in the journal information page.期刊信息页印明的刊期为双月刊，每年出版 6 期。
• The National Library of Medicine still lists the title as quarterly from 2011 onwards, a record the published issues have left behind.美国国家医学图书馆的记录仍把 2011 年以后的刊期写作季刊，实际出版的期次已经走到这条记录之前。
• Two learned societies own the title, the Korean Society for Brain and Neural Sciences and the Korean Society of Neurodegenerative Disease, and the footer names both as publishers.刊物由两家学会共同拥有，即韩国脑与神经科学学会与韩国神经退行性疾病学会，页脚把两家都列为出版方。

• Jong Eun Lee holds the post of Editor-in-Chief and works in the Department of Anatomy at Yonsei University College of Medicine.Jong Eun Lee 担任主编，任职于延世大学医学院解剖学系。

• Byung-Ok Choi serves as Deputy Editor, a clinical neuroscientist at Sungkyunkwan University School of Medicine who also works at Samsung Medical Center.Byung-Ok Choi 任副编辑，是成均馆大学医学院的临床神经科学家，同时在三星医疗中心工作。
