Ewha Womans University is a private women's research university in the Seodaemun-gu district of Seoul, South Korea, and the country's oldest and first women's university.梨花女子大学是位于韩国首尔西大门区的一所私立女子研究型大学，也是韩国历史最悠久、且是第一所女子大学。

History

• Ewha traces its roots to Mary F. Scranton's Ewha Haktang mission school for girls, which opened with one student on 31 May 1886 in Jeongdong, Seoul.梨花的渊源可追溯至玛丽·F·斯克兰顿创办的梨花学堂女子教会学校，该学堂于 1886 年 5 月 31 日在首尔贞洞开学，最初只有一名学生。
