Scope

• It publishes theoretical and empirical work on evolutionary approaches to human behaviour刊载以演化路径研究人类行为的理论与实证工作。

History

• The journal was established in 1980 under the title Ethology and Sociobiology该刊 1980 年以（Ethology and Sociobiology）之名创办。
• It became the official journal of the Human Behavior and Evolution Society in January 19941994 年 1 月起成为人类行为与演化学会（HBES）的官方期刊。
• Beginning with volume 18 in 1997 it was renamed Evolution and Human Behavior and published by Elsevier1997 年自第 18 卷起更名为（Evolution and Human Behavior），并由 Elsevier 出版。
• It appears in six issues a year and had a 2025 impact factor of 2.9该刊每年出版六期，2025 年影响因子为 2.9。
