European Journal of Operational Research

History

• The idea of a European journal of operational research was first proposed at the first council meeting of the association on 30 January 1975创办欧洲运筹学期刊的设想最早在 1975 年 1 月 30 日的协会首次理事会上提出。
• The council decided on 8 May 1975 to launch the journal, and the first editorial team consisted of Alan Mercer, Bernhard Tilanus and Hans-Juergen Zimmermann理事会于 1975 年 5 月 8 日决定创办该刊，首届编辑团队由（Alan Mercer）、（Bernhard Tilanus）与（Hans-Juergen Zimmermann）组成。
• The first volume appeared in 1977 with six bimonthly issues totalling 420 pages, timed for the second conference of the association首卷于 1977 年出版，为 6 期双月刊、共 420 页，配合协会第二次会议推出。
• The journal is published by Elsevier on behalf of the association with print ISSN 0377-2217 and electronic ISSN 1872-6860期刊由（Elsevier）代表协会出版，印刷 ISSN 为 0377-2217，电子 ISSN 为 1872-6860。
• It now publishes 24 issues a year with about 250 pages per issue, and its 40th anniversary selection in 2017 was drawn from 14617 articles期刊现每年出版 24 期、每期约 250 页，2017 年四十周年纪念专辑从 14617 篇文章中遴选。
