Environmental Microbiology
Environmental Microbiology is a peer-reviewed journal devoted to microbial processes in the environment, founded in 1999 by Blackwell Science and issued monthly, now published by Wiley. It takes microbial communities and their interactions with the surroundings as its core object, and is among the largest-selling titles in environmental microbiology.《环境微生物学》（Environmental Microbiology）是一份聚焦环境中微生物过程的同行评审学术期刊，一九九九年由布莱克韦尔科学出版公司创办，月刊发行，现由威立出版（Wiley）出版。该刊以微生物群落及其与环境的相互作用为核心对象，是环境微生物学领域发行量最大的刊物之一。
Scope
Environmental Microbiology treats the microbial community as the unit through which environmental processes are understood, and its official scope states that interdisciplinary studies of fundamental problems are particularly welcome. The journal is hybrid open access with an article processing charge of US$4,640, and its sister title Environmental Microbiology Reports was founded in 2009. History
- Founding (1999): the journal was founded at Oxford by Blackwell Science in February 1999 under its present title, with Kenneth N. Timmis as founding editor.创刊（一九九九年）： 本刊于一九九九年二月由布莱克韦尔科学出版公司创办于牛津，刊名自创刊起未变，创刊主编为肯尼思·蒂米斯。[2]

Editors
