Environment & Health is a fully open access, peer-reviewed journal co-published by the American Chemical Society and the Research Center for Eco-Environmental Sciences of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, launched with its first issue in July 2023, covering the interface between environmental exposure and human health, with a 2025 Journal Impact Factor of 8.8《环境与健康》（Environment & Health）是由（American Chemical Society）与中国科学院生态环境研究中心共同出版的完全开放获取同行评审期刊，2023 年 7 月随首期推出，聚焦环境暴露与人类健康的交叉领域，2025 年影响因子为 8.8。

Scope

• The journal explores the relationships between the environment and the health of individuals and communities该刊探讨环境与个体及群体健康之间的关系。
• It publishes work ranging from environmental monitoring to toxicology studies and epidemiological modelling其发表的研究涵盖从环境监测到毒理学研究与流行病学建模。

History

• It was established in 2022 by the American Chemical Society with the Research Center for Eco-Environmental Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and its inaugural issue appeared in July 2023该刊于 2022 年由（American Chemical Society）与中国科学院生态环境研究中心共同创办，首期于 2023 年 7 月面世。
• Its first volume, completed with six issues, opened with a welcome editorial by founding Editor-in-Chief Guibin Jiang其第 1 卷以 6 期出齐，以创办主编（Guibin Jiang）的创刊社论开篇。^[1]
• The journal is co-published monthly in Washington and Beijing by the American Chemical Society and the Research Center for Eco-Environmental Sciences该刊由（American Chemical Society）与中国科学院生态环境研究中心在华盛顿与北京按月共同出版。
• It was launched to address climate change, biodiversity loss and chemical pollution, three major environmental crises, and to support policies that create a healthier world该刊的创办旨在应对气候变化、生物多样性丧失与化学污染三大环境危机，并为建设更健康世界的政策提供支撑。

• Pedro J. Alvarez of Rice University, United States, is an Associate Editor covering environmental biotechnology, microbiology and nanotechnology（Pedro J. Alvarez）（美国（Rice University））任副编辑，负责环境生物技术、微生物学与纳米技术。
• K. W. Michael Siu of the University of Windsor, Canada, handles environmental biochemistry, chemical biology and analytical techniques（K. W. Michael Siu）（加拿大（University of Windsor））负责环境生物化学、化学生物学与分析技术。
• Maoyong Song of the Research Center for Eco-Environmental Sciences covers environmental chemistry and environmental toxicology（Maoyong Song）（中国科学院生态环境研究中心）负责环境化学与环境毒理学。
