Endocrine Reviews

Endocrine Reviews (commonly abbreviated as ''Endocr. Rev.') is a peer-reviewed academic journal owned by The Endocrine Society and published by Oxford University Press since 2018, issued six times a year. It publishes reviews only, spanning experimental and clinical endocrinology, and ranks among the most heavily cited review journals in endocrinology.《内分泌学评论》(Endocrine Reviews',常用缩写为 Endocr. Rev.''''')

Scope

The journal operates at two levels: concise timely reviews that update key mechanistic and clinical concepts, and more comprehensive authoritative reviews that address a whole theme in experimental or clinical endocrinology. The dual structure means that within one area of research a short update may appear first and a full treatment some years later, the two serving different functions, of different length and with different citation lifetimes.

The journal is published in hybrid mode and authors are not charged on the subscription route. Because it is commissioned by and large, an acceptance rate does not apply and the publisher publishes none本刊属混合出版模式,订阅路线不向作者收费。 what the publisher's official metrics page reports is the impact factor, the CiteScore and usage figures.[2]

History

Editors

The journal is run by an editor-in-chief, and since commissioned reviews are its principal source of material, the editorial work lies in topic selection and solicitation rather than in refereeing. The publisher reports neither an acceptance rate nor a time to first decision for this title, neither being meaningful for a largely commissioned journal. [2]
