Ege University (Turkish: Ege Üniversitesi) is a public research university in Bornova, İzmir, Turkey, founded on 20 May 1955.爱琴海大学（Ege University；土耳其语：Ege Üniversitesi）是位于土耳其伊兹密尔博尔诺瓦的一所公立研究型大学，创办于 1955 年 5 月 20 日。

Established by Law No. 6595, it is the fourth oldest university in Turkey and the first to begin courses in İzmir, with teaching starting in the 1955-1956 academic year.该校依第 6595 号法律设立，是土耳其第四古老的大学，也是在伊兹密尔最早开课的高校，其教学始于 1955-1956 学年。

History

• Ege University was founded on 20 May 1955 by Law No. 6595, published in the Official Gazette No. 9013, as the fourth university of Turkey and the first in the Aegean region.爱琴海大学依 1955 年 5 月 20 日在第 9013 号《政府公报》上公布的第 6595 号法律设立，是土耳其第四所大学，也是爱琴海地区的第一所大学。
