The Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU, Turkish: Doğu Akdeniz Üniversitesi) is a public university in Famagusta, Northern Cyprus, founded in 1979.东地中海大学（Eastern Mediterranean University，缩写 EMU；土耳其语：Doğu Akdeniz Üniversitesi）是位于北塞浦路斯法马古斯塔的公立大学，创办于 1979 年。

History

• The university was founded in 1979 as the Institute of Higher Technology, an institution created in consultation with the Turkish Higher Education Council for the newly established Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.该校于 1979 年创立，名为「高等技术学院」，是为新成立的北塞浦路斯土耳其共和国、在咨询土耳其高等教育委员会后创办的机构。
