Current Drug Metabolism (Curr. Drug Metab.) is a drug metabolism journal published by Bentham Science Publishers. Scope

The journal's editorial stance is that a paper must concern what happens to a drug in the body: however novel the compound, it has to give empirical results on metabolic pathways, kinetic parameters or metabolism-related toxicity. The journal is hybrid, with open access articles appearing simultaneously on ScienceDirect. The publisher publishes neither review speed nor acceptance rate. History

• Founding (2000): the journal was founded in 2000 under its present name, with no predecessor title and no renaming, so the founding year is also the year the present name took effect. The publisher's own journal history records neither a founder nor a founding rationale.创刊（2000年）： 2000 年创刊，创刊即使用现名，无前身刊名亦无改名，创刊年即现名启用年；出版方公布的刊物沿革中未记载创刊人与创刊动因。^[2]

• Volumes and scale: the journal appears monthly in print and online. Volume numbering has reached volume 27 in 2026, and the publisher lists past volumes and thematic issues on the journal page.卷期与体量： 本刊现为月刊，纸本与在线并行出版；卷号已排至第 27 卷（2026 年），出版方在期刊页列出历年的卷期与专刊主题。
