The CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems is an English-language journal on power and energy systems, published by the Chinese Society for Electrical Engineering with the China Electric Power Research Institute and IEEE, launched in March 2015 and dedicated to the theories, methods, technologies and applications that shape power systems in energy transition, with a 2025 Journal Impact Factor of 5.6.《中国电机工程学会电力与能源系统学报（英文）》（CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems）由（Chinese Society for Electrical Engineering）主办、（China Electric Power Research Institute）承办、与（IEEE）联合出版，2015 年 3 月创刊，致力于报道引领能源转型中电力系统发展的理论、方法、技术与应用，2025 年期刊影响因子为 5.6。

Scope

• The journal reports cutting-edge theories, methods, technologies and applications that will shape the development of power systems in energy transition, and provides an international platform for authors.刊物报道引领能源转型中电力系统发展的前沿理论、方法、技术与应用，并为作者提供国际发表平台。
• Four declared focus areas are power systems with high penetration of renewable energy, power systems including a high proportion of power electronics equipment, integrated energy systems, and electric equipment with advanced materials and technologies.刊物宣布的四大重点方向为高比例可再生能源电力系统、高比例电力电子设备接入的电力系统、综合能源系统，以及采用先进材料与技术的电气设备。
• It accepts original research papers, review articles with foresight on future trends, and rapid communications on findings of significant importance.刊物接收原创研究论文、展望未来趋势的综述文章，以及报道重要发现的快速通讯。

History

• Volume 1, Number 1 appeared in March 2015, making the journal the first English-language journal in the power and energy field published in China for readers at home and abroad.第 1 卷第 1 期于 2015 年 3 月出版，本刊由此成为国内第一本面向国内外公开发行的电力与能源领域英文期刊。
• It was founded by the Chinese Society for Electrical Engineering, organised by the China Electric Power Research Institute, and jointly published with IEEE, with all papers released on IEEE Xplore.刊物由中国电机工程学会创办、中国电力科学研究院承办，与（IEEE）联合出版，全部论文在（IEEE Xplore）发布。
• It began as a quarterly and now appears six times a year as a bimonthly.创刊时为季刊，现为双月刊，每年出版 6 期。
• Indexing built up from 2016 with CSAD, ESCI, INSPEC, DOAJ and ProQuest, and SCIE followed in November 2018.收录自 2016 年起逐步扩大，先后收入（CSAD）、（ESCI）、（INSPEC）、（DOAJ）与（ProQuest），2018 年 11 月入选（SCIE）。
