Contemporary Clinical Trials

Contemporary Clinical Trials is an Elsevier journal on the methods and design of clinical trials that traces its lineage to Controlled Clinical Trials founded in 1980 and took its present title in 2005, with a 2024 impact factor of 1.9（Contemporary Clinical Trials）是 Elsevier 出版的临床试验方法与设计期刊，其前身 Controlled Clinical Trials 创刊于 1980 年，2005 年起用现名，2024 年影响因子为 1.9。

Scope

• It publishes manuscripts on all aspects of clinical trials, including design, conduct, analysis, regulation and ethics刊载临床试验各方面的稿件，包括设计、实施、分析、监管与伦理。
• Its readership spans medicine, biostatistics, epidemiology, computer science, management science, behavioural science, pharmaceutical science and bioethics读者覆盖医学、生物统计、流行病学、计算机科学、管理科学、行为科学、药学与生命伦理。
• It publishes full-length papers, short communications and systematic reviews of clinical trials and methodology, as well as perspectives and commentaries发表全文论文、短通讯、临床试验与方法的系统综述，以及视角文章与评论。

History

• Its predecessor Controlled Clinical Trials was founded in 1980 and was the official journal of the Society for Clinical Trials from 1980 to 2003其前身 Controlled Clinical Trials 创刊于 1980 年，1980 至 2003 年间为临床试验学会的官方期刊。^[1]
• The founding editor of the predecessor title was Curtis L. Meinert of Johns Hopkins University前身刊的创始主编为约翰斯·霍普金斯大学的 Curtis L. Meinert。
• It was renamed Contemporary Clinical Trials in 2005 with its first issue in February 2005 and a new ISSN, and it has been published by Elsevier throughout该刊 2005 年更名为 Contemporary Clinical Trials，首期于 2005 年二月出版并启用新 ISSN，自始至终由 Elsevier 出版。
