Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews
The Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews is the health-care systematic-review database at the core of The Cochrane Library, owned and produced by Cochrane, an independent worldwide network of researchers and clinicians, published by Wiley, and holding a 2025 two-year Journal Impact Factor of 11.1(Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews)即 Cochrane 系统评价数据库,是(The Cochrane Library)中居于核心的医疗保健系统评价数据库,由独立全球研究者与临床医师网络(Cochrane)拥有并制作、由(Wiley)出版,2025 年两年期影响因子为 11.1。
Scope
- Its declared aim is to be the leading database for systematic reviews in health care, and its official scope covers any topic relevant to health care, including health services research其官方宗旨是成为医疗保健系统评价的首要数据库,声明的收录范围涵盖一切与医疗保健相关的主题,包括卫生服务研究。
- The database publishes Cochrane Reviews, systematic reviews that identify, appraise and synthesize the evidence bearing on a specific research question through explicit methods designed to minimize bias数据库发表(Cochrane)系统评价,即针对特定研究问题识别、评价并综合证据的系统评价,采用旨在最小化偏倚的明确方法学。
- Alongside finished reviews it publishes protocols that record in advance how a team defines the health problem and the intervention, measures benefit and harm and plans to find and summarize studies, so every protocol is a public record of intended method除正式评价外,数据库还发表方案,事先记录团队如何界定健康问题与干预措施、如何测量获益与危害以及如何检索与综合研究,因而每份方案都是既定方法学的公开记录。
- Two further content types complete it, commissioned editorials of up to a thousand words that raise methodological or policy themes without presenting original research data, and conference supplements carrying Cochrane Colloquia abstracts since 2009另有两类内容构成该库,一是主编约稿、不超一千词、不呈报原始研究数据而阐发方法学与政策议题的社论,二是自 2009 年起刊载(Cochrane)年会摘要的会议增刊。
- Each review is prepared and supervised by one of the specialist Cochrane Review Groups in line with the Cochrane Handbook for Systematic Reviews of Interventions or the handbook for diagnostic test accuracy reviews每篇评价均由某个专科(Cochrane Review Groups)评价小组依据《Cochrane 干预措施系统评价手册》或诊断准确性评价手册编写并督导。
- Because it sits inside a subscription collection rather than standing as an open journal, access runs through national provision, subscription, pay-per-view and one-click free access for qualifying countries, while abstracts and plain-language summaries reach readers through translations into many languages因其属于订阅制数据库集群而非独立开放期刊,获取途径包括国家授权、订阅、单篇付费与符合条件国家的免登录开放,同时摘要与通俗摘要经多语种译文惠及读者。
History
- Cochrane, formerly the Cochrane Collaboration, was founded in 1993 under the leadership of Iain Chalmers, developing Archie Cochrane's call for up-to-date systematic reviews of health care(Cochrane)前身为(Cochrane Collaboration),1993 年在 Iain Chalmers 领导下成立,秉承 Archie Cochrane 关于以系统评价及时总结医疗保健证据的号召。
- The first issue of the database was published in April 1995, while reference registries record the serial history of the Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews as running from 1996 to the present该数据库首期于 1995 年 4 月出版,而书目登记系统将其连续出版物史记为自 1996 年至今。
- Until the end of 2009 it kept a quarterly schedule of four issues a year, and from January 2010 it moved to a monthly rhythm in which each issue is built across a calendar month as new and updated work becomes ready至 2009 年底它实行每年四期的季刊节奏,2010 年 1 月起改为月刊,每期在整个日历月内随新产出与更新稿件就绪而滚动成形。
- Its publishing home changed with the times, the Cochrane Library being issued initially by Update Software and later taken on by John Wiley and Sons within Wiley Online Library on behalf of Cochrane其出版归属几经更替,(The Cochrane Library)最初由(Update Software)发行,后由(John Wiley and Sons)代表(Cochrane)并入(Wiley Online Library)出版。
- An annual newsletter titled Cochrane Methods circulated alongside the database from 2010 to 2016, and the component databases were reorganized in a major restructuring of The Cochrane Library in 2018名为(Cochrane Methods)的年刊通讯于 2010 至 2016 年间随该库一起发行,各组成数据库则在 2018 年(The Cochrane Library)的一次重大改组中被重新整合。
- Its two-year Journal Impact Factor, as logged by the publisher's own impact fact sheets, ran 9.266 for 2021, 12.008 for 2022, 9.4 for 2024 and 11.1 for 2025据出版方自设的影响因子事实清单,两年影响因子依次为 2021 年 9.266、2022 年 12.008、2024 年 9.4、2025 年 11.1。
Editors
- The Cochrane Library and with it this database is headed by an Editor in Chief, a post held by Dr Karla Soares-Weiser, who in September 2025 was named Chief Executive Officer of Cochrane(The Cochrane Library)及其所属本数据库由主编主持,该职由 Karla Soares-Weiser 博士担任,她于 2025 年 9 月被任命为(Cochrane)首席执行官。
- Her field is infectious disease and evidence synthesis, and she has served as an editor for the Cochrane Infectious Diseases Group and for diagnostic test accuracy methods within the network她的研究领域为传染病与证据综合,曾在该网络内担任(Cochrane Infectious Diseases Group)编辑与诊断准确性方法学编辑。
- Editorial responsibility is distributed across the specialist Cochrane Review Groups and a Central Editorial Service overseen by an Editorial Board, so review-level editing and quality control sit with the group that commissions each review编辑职责分布于各专科(Cochrane Review Groups)评价小组与一个(Central Editorial Service)中央编辑服务处,并设编辑委员会统筹政策,故评价层面的编辑与质量控制由约稿该篇评价的小组承担。
- Reviews and protocols are submitted through Cochrane's own group-based editorial workflow rather than a commercial portal, while proposals for the short editorials are sent to the editorial office for the Editor in Chief to commission评价与方案经由(Cochrane)自有、按小组运作的编辑流程提交,而非通过商业投稿门户,短评社论的选题则投往编辑部供主编约稿。
- Peer review is embedded in production since every review is a peer-reviewed synthesis supervised by its review group against the Cochrane Handbook and drawing on clinical and methodological referees同行评审内建于生产过程,每篇评价都是经评审的综合,由其所属小组依据《Cochrane 手册》督导,并借助临床与方法学审稿人把关。[1]
- Access remains subscription rather than author-pays open, yet a green route exists, because from February 2013 authors may deposit a published review or protocol in a repository after twelve months and from September 2016 reviews are deposited automatically in PubMed Central获取仍以订阅为主而非作者付费的开放获取,但存在绿色通道,自 2013 年 2 月起作者可在发表满十二个月后将评价或方案存入存储库,自 2016 年 9 月起评价已自动存缴至(PubMed Central)。[2]
