Clinical Therapeutics

Clinical Therapeutics is a peer-reviewed journal of clinical drug therapy, founded in New Jersey in 1977 by Excerpta Medica and now published by Elsevier, appearing monthly. Scope

History

• Founding (1977): the journal was founded at Princeton, New Jersey, in 1977 by Excerpta Medica, under its present title and without later renaming创刊（一九七七年）： 本刊于一九七七年创办于新泽西州普林斯顿，创办方为医学文摘出版社，刊名自创刊起未变；该社后并入爱思唯尔集团。 the publisher was later absorbed into the Elsevier group.^[2]
• Frequency settled (from 1999): after an irregular early run the journal settled at twelve issues a year from 1999, which has continued since.刊期定型（一九九九年起）： 创刊初期出刊不定，一九九九年起固定为每年十二期并延续至今。^[2]
• Co-editorship (recent years): the journal is presently run by co-editors-in-chief Jill L. Maron and Paul Beninger, previously by Ravi Jhaveri with Maron for many years双主编制（近年）： 本刊现行双主编制由吉尔·马龙与保罗·贝宁格共同执掌，此前长期由拉维·贾韦里与马龙搭档；理查德·沙德与贾韦里现为名誉主编。 Shader and Jhaveri are now editors-in-chief emeritus.^[3]

Editors

The journal is run by co-editors-in-chief, with five topic editors at large, theme-based topic editors, a statistical editor and ten international consulting editors, forty-three editors and board members in all across thirteen countries. Elsevier's official 2025 figures give six days from submission to first decision, including editorial desk review, sixty-one days to a decision after review, one hundred and one days to acceptance and twenty-nine days from acceptance to online publication, with a published acceptance rate of twenty-seven per cent.本刊实行双主编制，配五名专题总编辑、按疾病主题分工的专题编辑、一名统计编辑与十名国际顾问编辑，编辑及编委共四十三人、分驻十三国。二〇二五年爱思唯尔官方指标显示：投稿至首次决定六天（含编辑部桌审）、复审后决定六十一天、投稿至录用一百零一天、录用至二十九天在线发表，官方公布录用率为百分之二十七。^[4]

• Jill L. Maron (co-editor-in-chief): a neonatal genomics specialist at the Women & Infants Hospital of Rhode Island and professor of paediatrics at Brown University, working on molecular and saliva-based diagnostics in newborns.吉尔·马龙（共同主编）： 美国罗得岛妇女与婴儿医院新生儿基因组学专家、布朗大学儿科教授，研究方向为新生儿分子诊断与唾液诊断技术。^[3]
