City and Environment Interactions

City and Environment Interactions is an international, interdisciplinary open access journal launched by Elsevier in 2019 to study how cities and their wider regions interact with environmental and climatic pressures, and it holds a 2025 Journal Impact Factor of 5.3《城市与环境相互作用》是（Elsevier）于 2019 年创办的国际跨学科开放获取期刊，研究城市及其周边区域与环境、气候压力之间的相互作用，2025 年影响因子为 5.3。

Scope

• Environmental pressures that cities and their surrounding regions place on resources and that pollution, climate and weather place on them城市及其周边区域对资源形成的压力，以及污染、气候与天气对城市造成的压力。
• Climate threats such as water shortages, urban runoff and the urban heat island, together with urban greenhouse gas emissions and the decarbonisation of cities缺水、城市径流与城市热岛等气候威胁，以及城市温室气体排放与城市脱碳。

History

• Volume 1 opened in September 2019 with a launch article titled City and environment by Peter Brimblecombe, the journal's editor-in-chief, setting out the case for research at the city-environment interface第 1 卷于 2019 年 9 月面世，开篇之作《城市与环境》由时任主编 Peter Brimblecombe 撰写，阐明了城市与环境交界处的研究议程。^[1]
• Elsevier created the title as a rapid, fully open access forum, so every paper is free to read from the day it appears and authors pay an article publishing charge rather than choosing between subscription and open access routes（Elsevier）将其设为快速出版的完全开放获取平台，论文自上线之日起即可免费阅读，作者支付文章出版费，而不必在订阅与开放获取之间做选择。
