Chronobiology International
Chronobiology International is the official journal of the International Society for Chronobiology, published by Taylor & Francis with the subtitle The Journal of Biological and Medical Rhythm Research, founded in 1984 and covering biological and medical rhythm research, with a 2025 impact factor of 2.5(Chronobiology International)是国际时间生物学学会的官方期刊,由 Taylor & Francis 出版,副题为(The Journal of Biological and Medical Rhythm Research),1984 年创刊,聚焦生物与医学节律研究,2025 年影响因子为 2.5。
Scope
- It is a transdisciplinary journal focusing on biological rhythm phenomena of all life forms
- It publishes groundbreaking articles, authoritative review papers, short communications of work in progress, case studies and letters to the editor
- Topics include the genetic and molecular mechanisms of biological timekeeping in insects, animals and humans, including melatonin and pineal gland rhythms
- Applied topics such as shiftwork, chronotypes and associated personality traits are covered, along with the chronobiology and chronotherapy of sleep, cardiovascular, pulmonary and psychiatric conditions亦覆盖轮班工作、时型与相关人格特质等应用主题,以及睡眠、心血管、呼吸与精神疾病的时间生物学与时间治疗。
- Articles pertain to basic and applied chronobiology and to methods, statistics and instrumentation for the study of biological rhythms
History
- It was founded in 1984 by the co-editors-in-chief Alain Reinberg and Michael H. Smolensky as a platform for the emerging discipline of chronobiology该刊 1984 年由共同主编 Alain Reinberg 与 Michael H. Smolensky 创办,为新兴的时间生物学学科提供平台。[1]
- It was published first by Pergamon Press, later by Informa Healthcare, and moved to the Taylor & Francis platform in
- Volume 1 corresponds to 1984, so the journal reached volume 40 in
- Smolensky was editor-in-chief from 1984 to 2021 and was succeeded by Roberto RefinettiSmolensky 自 1984 至 2021 年任主编,其后由 Roberto Refinetti 接任。[2]
- It was bimonthly at first and became a monthly journal of twelve issues a year in
- It remains a subscription journal with an open access option under the publisher's Open Select programme and is not fully open access该刊仍为订阅期刊,依出版方的 Open Select 计划设开放获取选项,并非完全开放获取。
Editors
- The editor-in-chief is Roberto Refinetti of the University of New Orleans, whose field is circadian rhythms, behavioural physiology and biological timekeeping现任主编 Roberto Refinetti,新奥尔良大学,研究昼夜节律、行为生理学与生物计时。
- The three associate editors are A. Gall of Hope College in Michigan, H. Wang of Soochow University in China and G. Zerbini of Augsburg University in Germany三位副编辑为密歇根州 Hope College 的 A. Gall、中国苏州大学的 H. Wang 与德国奥格斯堡大学的 G. Zerbini。
- The editorial board of about fifty members is highly international and covers the United States, Germany, France, the United Kingdom, Japan, Brazil and China, among others约五十人的编委会高度国际化,覆盖美国、德国、法国、英国、日本、巴西与中国等地。
- The journal issued ethical principles and standards for the conduct of human and animal biological rhythm research in 2004 and revised them later
- All peer review follows the publisher's editorial policies, and submissions are made through ScholarOne Manuscripts全部同行评审遵循出版方的编辑政策,投稿经 ScholarOne Manuscripts 系统提交。
