Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering is the English-language flagship journal of the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, launched in 1988 and published from 2026 by KeAi, spanning mechanisms and robotics, manufacturing, materials processing and vehicles, with a 2025 Journal Impact Factor of 5.1.《中国机械工程学报》（Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering）是中国机械工程学会的英文旗舰期刊，1988 年创刊，2026 年起由（KeAi）出版，涵盖机构与机器人、制造、材料加工与车辆等方向，2025 年期刊影响因子为 5.1。

Scope

• The journal is organised around mechanism and robotics, covering innovative mechanism design, mechanical transmission, robot structure and control, and industrial, medical and service robotics.期刊以机构与机器人为主线，涵盖创新机构设计、机械传动、机器人结构与控制，以及工业、医疗与服务机器人应用。
• Intelligent manufacturing covers machining processes, micro and nano manufacturing, additive manufacturing, innovative industrial design and intelligent monitoring of machine tools.智能制造方向涵盖加工工艺、微纳制造、增材制造、创新工业设计以及机床的智能监测。
• Machine fault diagnostics and prognostics are treated together with intelligent maintenance and health management of equipment.机械故障诊断与预测同设备智能运维与健康管理一并纳入范围。

History

• The title was launched in 1988 under the supervision of the China Association for Science and Technology and the sponsorship of the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society.本刊 1988 年创刊，由中国科学技术协会（CAST）主管、中国机械工程学会（CMES）主办。
• It is the society's only official journal for international communication and works with more than 80 partner bodies, among them ASME, the Institution of Mechanical Engineers and IFToMM.该刊是学会唯一的对外交流会刊，与（ASME）、英国机械工程师学会（IMechE）及（IFToMM）等 80 余个国际组织合作。
• Volumes 1 to 10 are archived on the journal's own site, volumes 11 to 38 on SpringerLink, and volume 39 opened in 2026 under KeAi on ScienceDirect.第 1 至 10 卷存于期刊自有网站，第 11 至 38 卷存于（SpringerLink），第 39 卷自 2026 年起由（KeAi）在（ScienceDirect）出版。
• The transfer ended the Springer Nature arrangement after volume 38, and the journal remains fully open access, with an article publishing charge of USD 1,500 or CNY 10,000 and a choice of CC BY or CC BY-NC-ND licences.此次转换结束了与（Springer Nature）在第 38 卷的合作，期刊继续实行完全开放获取，版面费为 1500 美元或 10000 元人民币，可选知识共享署名（CC BY）或署名非商业性禁止演绎（CC BY-NC-ND）许可。
