China Jiliang University is a public university in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, China, specialising in metrology, standardisation, quality supervision, inspection and quarantine, fields that few Chinese universities teach as one integrated discipline.中国计量大学是中国浙江省杭州市的一所公立大学，以计量、标准、质量监督、检验检疫为办学特色，这些领域在中国高校中很少被整合为统一学科。

It began in 1978 as the Hangzhou Metrology School under the State Metrology Bureau and became China Jiliang University in 2016.学校于1978年以国家计量总局下属的杭州计量学校起步，2016年更名为中国计量大学。

The university has 19 colleges and departments, 52 undergraduate majors, about 19,000 undergraduates and 5,800 postgraduates, with its motto "Think deeply about the nation and measure finely for the people".学校设有19个学院（部）、52个本科专业，有约1.9万名本科生和5800余名研究生，校训为“精思国计，细量民生”。

History

• In 1978 the State Metrology Bureau founded the Hangzhou Metrology School as a secondary specialised school with 300 staff, 1,200 students, five majors and a three-year curriculum, at a time when the country was rebuilding the measurement system on which industry and trade depended.1978年，国家计量总局创办杭州计量学校，属中等专业学校，有教职工300人、在校生规模1200人，设5个专业，学制三年。
