ChemPhysMater is a quarterly gold open access journal founded in 2022 by Shandong University with KeAi, publishing theoretical and experimental work at the interface of chemistry, physics and materials science and carrying a 2025 Journal Impact Factor of 5.3《化学物理材料》由山东大学与科爱合作创办于 2022 年，是季度出版的金色开放获取期刊，刊载化学、物理与材料科学交叉处的理论与实验研究，2025 年影响因子为 5.3。

Scope

• The journal covers the synthesis, assembly and application of materials, including one- and two-dimensional nanomaterials, particles, films and gels期刊覆盖材料的合成、组装与应用，包括一维与二维纳米材料、颗粒、薄膜与凝胶。
• Colloids and interfaces, soft matter, biomaterials and biological applications form a second core area胶体与界面、软物质、生物材料及生物应用构成另一核心方向。
• It publishes theoretical and computational work in physics, chemistry and materials science, alongside atomic, molecular, optical and interdisciplinary physics刊登物理、化学与材料科学的理论与计算研究，以及原子、分子、光学物理与交叉物理。
• Advanced characterisation techniques for soft matter and functional materials are explicitly within scope软物质与功能材料的先进表征技术明确属于收稿范围。
• Functional materials papers are considered in relation to optics, electrics, magnetics, mechanics, energy and biomedicine功能材料研究需结合光学、电学、磁学、力学、能源与生物医学等应用场景。
• Article types include original research, short and critical reviews, and commentaries文章类型包括原创研究、短评与批判性综述以及评论。

History

• The title was selected in 2019 for China's Journal Excellence Action Plan as a high-starting-point new journal and received support from Shandong University's strengthening-journals programme该刊于 2019 年入选中国科技期刊卓越行动计划高起点新刊项目，并获得山东大学“强刊兴学”计划支持。
• Its website opened for submissions in August 2021, with accepted papers appearing online from late 2021 and Volume 1 Issue 1 dated 2022期刊网站于 2021 年 8 月上线并开始接收投稿，录用论文自 2021 年底起在线发表，第 1 卷第 1 期标注为 2022 年。
• It is hosted by Shandong University, whose chemistry, physics and materials schools jointly run it, and is operated by the university's journal press in Jinan期刊由山东大学主办，该校化学与化工学院、物理学院、材料科学与工程学院联合承办，由山东大学科技期刊社在济南运营。
• KeAi, the Elsevier and China Science Publishing joint venture, publishes the title, which has been gold open access under CC BY from launch with an article processing charge of USD 840出版由（Elsevier）与（China Science Publishing）合资的（KeAi）承担，自创刊起即为（CC BY）许可的金色开放获取，文章处理费为 840 美元。

Editors

• The editor-in-chief is Yuliang Li, a chemist at the Institute of Chemistry of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and a chair professor at Shandong University, known for graphdiyne and carbon-based materials主编为中国科学院院士、中国科学院化学研究所研究员李玉良，其研究聚焦石墨炔与碳基分子材料。
• Associate editors are Jingcheng Hao, Guoqun Zhao and Feng Chen of Shandong University, together with Flemming Besenbacher of Denmark, Kiet Tieu of Australia and Muthupandian Ashokkumar of the University of Melbourne副主编包括山东大学郝京诚、赵国群、陈峰，以及丹麦的（Flemming Besenbacher）、澳大利亚的（Kiet Tieu）与墨尔本大学的（Muthupandian Ashokkumar）。
