Scope

History

• It was founded in 1990 by Yao Zhen, a cell biologist and academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, who served as its first Editor-in-Chief该刊于 1990 年由细胞生物学家、中国科学院院士姚錱创办，他出任首任主编。
• It was established by the Shanghai Institute of Cell Biology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, to build a platform for international exchange in cell biology该刊由中国科学院上海细胞生物学研究所创办，旨在搭建细胞生物学领域的国际交流平台。
• In 2005 Pei Gang took over as Editor-in-Chief, aiming to build a journal matching China's growing strength in the life sciences2005 年裴钢接任主编，力求打造与中国不断增长的生命科学实力相称的期刊。
