• The journal was founded in 1984, with volume 1 issue 1 appearing in October 1984 under founding editor Gary Williams, and it was issued first by Princeton Scientific Publishers and then by Kluwer Academic Publishers.本刊于 1984 年创刊，第 1 卷第 1 期于 1984 年 10 月出版，创刊编辑为（Gary Williams），早期先后由（Princeton Scientific Publishers）与（Kluwer Academic Publishers）出版。
