Bulletin of Volcanology
Bulletin of Volcanology (commonly abbreviated as Bull. Volcanol.', ISSN 0258-8900) is the official journal of the International Association of Volcanology and Chemistry of the Earth's Interior (IAVCEI). Published by Springer, it carries original research and reviews in volcanology. It was founded in 1922 as Bulletin Volcanologique''.Bulletin of Volcanology（常用缩写 Bull. Scope
The journal publishes papers on volcanoes, their products, their eruptive behaviour and their hazards. Studies that use geochemical, petrological and geophysical techniques to elucidate the deeper structure of volcanoes and the evolution of magmatic systems are also welcome. Material is published in four sections: Review Articles, Research Articles, Short Scientific Communications, and a Forum that provides a venue for discussing controversial issues and for comment and reply on previously published Articles and Communications.该刊发表关于火山及其喷出物、喷发行为与灾害的论文，并欢迎以地球化学、岩石学与地球物理技术探讨火山深部结构与岩浆系统演化的研究。稿件分为四个板块：综述论文（Review Articles）、研究论文（Research Articles）、短篇科学通讯（Short Scientific Communications），以及论坛（Forum）——后者用于讨论争议性问题，并就已发表的论文与通讯进行评论与答复。[1]

History
- Founding under its former title (1922): the journal appeared as Bulletin Volcanologique and long served as an international vehicle for volcanological exchange, publishing in several languages, principally French.创刊与初名（1922年）： 创刊时名为 Bulletin Volcanologique，自创刊起即作为火山学界的国际交流载体，长期以多语种（法文为主）发表论文。
- Renaming and internationalization (1999): the journal adopted its present title, Bulletin of Volcanology, and made English the sole language of publication, extending its readership from the Francophone world to the global volcanological community.更名与国际化（1999年）： 期刊改用现名 Bulletin of Volcanology，英文成为唯一的发表语言，标志着其读者群从法语区扩展到全球火山学界。
- Digitization: the journal moved fully onto the SpringerLink platform, moving from a print-and-electronic dual format to an electronic-only distribution model.数字化阶段： 期刊全面接入 SpringerLink 在线平台，形成印刷版与电子版并行、纸质版现已停刊的纯数字发行模式。
Editors
The journal has an Editor-in-Chief, supported by an editorial board of specialists covering volcanology, geochemistry, petrology and geophysics, which handles peer review and adjudication of submissions.期刊设执行主编（Editor-in-Chief），并配备由各分支领域专家组成的编辑委员会，覆盖火山学、地球化学、岩石学与地球物理等方向，负责稿件的同行评审与仲裁。[2]
