Bond University is Australia's first private not-for-profit university, located in Robina on the Gold Coast in Queensland, and it opened on 15 May 1989 with an initial intake of 322 students.邦德大學是澳大利亞第一所私立非營利大學，位於昆士蘭州黃金海岸的羅賓納，於 1989 年 5 月 15 日開學，首屆招收 322 名學生。

• Bond University was established and funded in 1987 by Alan Bond, chairman of the Bond Corporation, Harunori Takahashi, president of the Japanese firm Electronics and Industrial Enterprises International, and Dr Taro Tanioka.邦德大學於 1987 年由邦德集團董事長艾倫·邦德、日本電子與工業企業國際公司總裁高橋治則及谷岡太郎博士共同出資創辦。
