BMC Chemistry, formerly Chemistry Central Journal, is a fully open access chemistry journal in the Springer Nature BMC series whose volume lineage began in 2007, publishing across pure and applied chemistry, with a 2025 Journal Impact Factor of 5.1.《BMC 化学》（BMC Chemistry）前身为（Chemistry Central Journal），是（Springer Nature）旗下（BMC）系列的全开放获取化学期刊，卷号可追溯至 2007 年，覆盖纯化学与应用化学各领域，2025 年期刊影响因子为 5.1。

Scope

• Scope covers all areas of pure and applied chemistry, with the core disciplines of analytical, inorganic, organic, physical and materials chemistry at its centre.范围覆盖纯化学与应用化学各领域，以分析化学、无机化学、有机化学、物理化学与材料化学为核心学科。

History

• Volume 1 appeared in December 2007 under the title Chemistry Central Journal, an open access title with a single continuously filled issue per volume.第 1 卷于 2007 年 12 月以（Chemistry Central Journal）为名出版，采用每卷单一连续填充期的开放获取模式。
• The journal took its present name in 2019 without resetting the volume count, so volume 13 carried the first BMC Chemistry papers from January 2019.本刊于 2019 年改用现名，卷号未重新起算，第 13 卷自 2019 年 1 月起刊载首批（BMC Chemistry）论文。
