History

• The journal first appeared in 1956 as the Journal of Agricultural Engineering Research该刊于 1956 年以（Journal of Agricultural Engineering Research）为名首次出版。
• It was renamed Biosystems Engineering in 2002, starting with volume 81, to reflect a broader remit than farm machinery2002 年自第 81 卷起更名为《生物系统工程》，以体现超出农机范围的更广定位。
• It is published by Elsevier, historically through its Academic Press imprint该刊由（Elsevier）出版，历史上通过其（Academic Press）品牌发行。
