Belarusian National Technical University

Belarusian National Technical University, known by the Belarusian abbreviation BNTU, is the oldest and largest public technical university of Belarus, seated in central Minsk.白俄罗斯国立技术大学以白俄罗斯语缩写БНТУ行世，是白俄罗斯历史最久、规模最大的公立技术大学，坐落在明斯克市中心。

Founded on 10 December 1920 as the Belarusian State Polytechnic Institute, it passed through agricultural, polytechnic and academy identities before taking its present name in 2002.学校1920年12月10日以白俄罗斯国立工学院创立，此后历经农学院、工学院与科技研究院诸身份，2002年定现名。

History

• The economic reconstruction of Soviet Belarus in the early 1920s demanded engineers for every branch of the national economy, and on 10 December 1920 the Minsk polytechnic school of a technicum type was upgraded into the Belarusian State Polytechnic Institute.苏维埃白俄罗斯在1920年代初重建经济，各行各业急需工程师，1920年12月10日明斯克一所中专制的技术学校被升格为白俄罗斯国立工学院。
