Austral University, known in Spanish as Universidad Austral, is a private Catholic research university in Argentina whose main seat is the Pilar campus in Buenos Aires Province, with further seats in the City of Buenos Aires and in Rosario.阿根廷南方大学（西班牙语：Universidad Austral）是阿根廷一所私立天主教研究型大学，主校区位于布宜诺斯艾利斯省的皮拉尔，另在布宜诺斯艾利斯市与罗萨里奥设有校区。

It was founded in 1991, when its first class was taught in Rosario on 4 March, building on the Instituto de Altos Estudios Empresariales, better known as IAE Business School, which had been created under the civil association ACES in 1978.该校于 1991 年创办，当年 3 月 4 日在罗萨里奥开课，其基础是 1978 年在民间社团 ACES 之下成立的 IAE 商学院。

History

• In 1977 the Asociación Civil de Estudios Superiores, known as ACES, was constituted as a non-profit body whose purpose was the development of studies at higher level, laying the legal foundation for the later university project.1977 年，名为 ACES 的高等教育研究民间协会成立，其宗旨是推动高等教育层面的研究，为日后的建校计划奠定法人基础。
