History

• Arthroplasty was launched in 2019 as a collaborative journal of the Arthroplasty Society in Asia and BioMed Central, with submissions opening in January 2019 and the first articles published in August 2019《关节成形术》于 2019 年由亚洲人工关节学会与（BioMed Central）合作创刊，2019 年 1 月开放投稿，同年 8 月发表首批文章。
• The Arthroplasty Society in Asia itself was founded in 2012, gathering joint surgeons from Asian countries and beyond亚洲人工关节学会成立于 2012 年，汇聚亚洲及其他国家的关节外科专家。
• Yan Wang of the Chinese PLA General Hospital in Beijing served as founding Editor-in-Chief and presented the journal in its launch editorial中国人民解放军总医院的（Yan Wang）担任创刊主编，并在创刊社论中阐述了办刊构想。^[1]
