Archives of Pharmacal Research
Archives of Pharmacal Research (commonly abbreviated as ''Arch. Pharmacal Res.') is a peer-reviewed monthly academic journal in pharmacy published by Springer on behalf of The Pharmaceutical Society of Korea of South Korea. It carries original research papers and reviews on drug discovery, drug development and drug actions, and is the official journal of that society.Archives of Pharmacal Research（常用缩写 Arch. Scope
According to the aims published by the publisher, the journal has been published since 1976 as the official journal of The Pharmaceutical Society of Korea. As an interdisciplinary journal it is devoted to original research papers and reviews in drug discovery, drug development and drug actions, with the aim of providing fundamental and novel information on drugs and drug candidates.根据出版商公布的办刊宗旨，该刊自 1976 年起出版，是大韩药学会（韩国）的官方刊物，作为一份跨学科期刊致力于刊载药物发现、药物开发与药物作用领域的原创研究论文与综述，目标是就药物与药物候选物提供基础性与新颖性的信息。[1]

- Natural product research: articles reporting the pharmacological effects of active ingredients in extracts are considered for publication, whereas studies evaluating only the pharmacological actions of the extracts themselves are not accepted.天然产物研究： 报告天然提取物中活性成分药理作用的研究可予考虑，但仅评估提取物整体药理作用的研究不予接受。

- Originality and availability of materials: manuscripts must report original research not published elsewhere in any journal. Taken together, the journal places the chemical, pharmaceutical and biomedical stages of the drug development chain within a single framework, and its special provision on natural products reflects the Korean pharmaceutical tradition of research on the active constituents of traditional materials such as ginseng.整体来看，该刊把药物研发链条上的化学、药学与生物医学环节放在同一框架内考察，其对天然产物的特别规定也反映出韩国药学界重视人参等传统药材活性成分研究的传统。
History
- 1976: the journal was founded and began publication as the official journal of The Pharmaceutical Society of Korea of South Korea. Its first issue predates the physical record of December 1978, and the official account gives 1976 as the founding year.1976年： 创刊，作为大韩药学会（韩国）的官方刊物开始出版，首期早于1978 年 12 月的实物发行记录，官方口径以 1976 年为创刊年。
- 1976 to the 1990s: the title Archives of Pharmacal Research has remained unchanged since founding, with early content centred on basic research in medicinal chemistry and pharmacology.1976年至1990年代： 刊名自创刊起始终保持 Archives of Pharmacal Research 未曾变更，早期内容以药物化学与药理学的基础研究为主。

Editors
The journal has one Editor-in-Chief supported by a number of editorial board members. Manuscripts are peer-reviewed, with final acceptance decided by the Editor-in-Chief, and as the journal of a scholarly society its editorial policy follows the academic orientation of The Pharmaceutical Society of Korea of South Korea.期刊设主编（Editor-in-Chief）一人，另设编委成员若干，稿件经同行评审后由主编决定录用；作为学会刊物，其编辑方针与大韩药学会（韩国）的学术定位相一致。
