Archives of Computational Methods in Engineering (commonly abbreviated as ''Arch. Comput. Methods Eng.') is a review journal in computational methods for engineering published by Springer. Founded in 1994 by the International Numerical Analysis Group of the Institute of Engineering Sciences in Spain, it aims at systematic surveys of the mathematical foundations and implementation of numerical methods for engineering problems, with a 2025 impact factor of 12.9.Archives of Computational Methods in Engineering（常用缩写 Arch. • Genre: the journal publishes review articles only and does not accept original research papers. History

• 1994: the journal was founded by the International Numerical Analysis Group of the Institute of Engineering Sciences of the Spanish National Research Council. The team was made up of researchers under thirty and set out to gather, in one place, the mathematics that until then had been scattered across the numerical literature of the engineering disciplines.1994年： 期刊由西班牙工程科学研究院（Institute of Engineering Sciences, CSIC）国际 Numerical Analysis Group 创办，该团队由不超过三十岁的青年学者组成，志在把散落在各工程领域数值方法文献中的数学内容汇集起来。

• Editorial office: the editorship is held jointly by three members of the International Numerical Analysis Group, assisted by a group of associate editors who handle submissions by subject area.
