The Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, abbreviated AASTMT, is a regional university operated by the League of Arab States that specialises in maritime transport, engineering and business, with its headquarters in Alexandria, Egypt.阿拉伯科学、技术和海运学院（简称 AASTMT）是阿拉伯国家联盟主办的一所区域性大学，专长于海运、工程与商科，总部设于埃及亚历山大。

History

• The project began as a notion raised at the Arab League Transport Committee meetings of 11 March 1970, which the Arab League Council endorsed in its fifty-third session by decree No. 2631/1970 establishing a regional centre for maritime transport training.该项目始于 1970 年 3 月 11 日阿拉伯联盟运输委员会会议上提出的一项构想，阿拉伯联盟理事会第 53 届会议以第 2631/1970 号决议表示赞同，设立海运培训区域中心。
