Applied Physics Express

Applied Physics Express is a letters journal of the Japan Society of Applied Physics, published by IOP Publishing on behalf of the society and founded in 2008, covering concise reports of the latest advances in applied physics, with a 2025 impact factor of 2.5（Applied Physics Express，简称 Appl. Phys. Express）是日本应用物理学会的快报期刊，由 IOP Publishing 代表该会出版，2008 年创刊，刊载应用物理最新成果的简明快报，2025 年影响因子为 2.5。

History

• Founded in 2008 by the Japan Society of Applied Physics by splitting off the letters section of the Japanese Journal of Applied Physics2008 年由日本应用物理学会将其（Japanese Journal of Applied Physics）的快报部分拆分独立而成。
• The National Library of Medicine records it as continuing in part the online edition of the Japanese Journal of Applied Physics美国国家医学图书馆将其登记为部分承继自（Japanese Journal of Applied Physics）的在线版。
• IOP describes the two titles as sister journals operated by the same editorial committee of the societyIOP 官方称两刊为姊妹刊，由学会的同一编辑委员会运营。
• It was self-published from 2008 to 2013, and from January 2014 the society entrusted its online hosting and sales to IOP Publishing, which took over copyright administration in 20192008 至 2013 年由学会自主出版，2014 年一月起将会刊在线托管与销售委托 IOP Publishing，2019 年起版权管理移交该社。
• It became fully gold open access from volume 17 in January 2024自 2024 年一月至第 17 卷起转为完全金色开放获取。
